A wall, a ceiling plane and a block define this elemental scheme in a large loft type space. The block functions as a utilities node, containing the reception, server room, kitchen and washroom. The wall demarcates the main workspace from the entrance, absorbing extraneous noise from the busy street and housing a multi-folding screen of translucent panels. The ceiling element acts as a spatial interface between the block and wall.

This sculptural composition of wall, plane and block is an exercise in considered restraint. The use of these simple, rectilinear forms sets up a dynamic between pure space and appropriated space. This counterpoint, between emptiness and solidity, enriches the interior.
